                  SAMPLE NETBALL TRAINING SCHEDULE

1. Talk about weekend game and any problems anyone is experiencing on court. 5-10 mins

 

2. Dynamic warm up.Everyone responsible for one movement.(Prevent injuries)Light stretch. 5 mins

 

3. Passing.(Concentrating on technique. I know your thinking basic but strong passing is the base to build your game around.) 10 mins

 

4. Strength exercises.(Build up leg and core strength to help prevent injuries and get off the ground better.)10-15 mins

 

5. Drills(Promote speed,timing,footwork,passing, combinations,agility etc.) 10-15 mins

 

6. Skills(Learn techniques for defence,centre court and attack play) 10-20 mins

 

7. Team positioning(Learn to work together and understand each others play,strengths and weaknesses.Respect others court area.Balance the court.Develop planned plays.Getting the ball down the court.) 15 mins

 

8. Game play. 15 mins

9. Warm Down and stretch.5-10 mins
